Aberdeen Art Gallery – The Gallery was purpose-built in 1884. A central fountain dominates the Centre Court, and the pillars, which run down from the upper balcony, are hewn from local marble.
Town House/Tolbooth – Union Street. Take a walk around the city centre and take in the granite buildings that give Aberdeen its title of: “The Granite City” The turreted spire of the granite Town House is worth a look as the steel-grey 19th century façade actually hides a 17th century building called the Tolbooth.
Marischal College - Broad Street. This is Aberdeen's most imposing building which is the second-largest granite building in the world.
Footdee – Located at the east corner of the harbour, Footdee is a nineteenth-century fishermen's village that consists of quaint cottages, which back onto the sea.
